NMOS H-Bridge Drive Design
NMOS H-Bridge Drive Design makes the
internal resistance far lower than PMOS.
Components of low resistance power and optimal driving voltage minimize the internal resistance and massively reduce the heat during operation. The maximum withstand current is up to 300A, and the maximum withstand temperature is 150 degrees because of the CMA drive tube design. The best model performance can be always ensured even after a long time of high-speed
driving or repeatedly slamming on the brakes.
Built-in Switching Regulator BEC, Efficient and Low Heat Radiation
The built-in high-efficiency and stable switching power supply BEC work with max output current 5A. No matter it is a 2S or 4S battery, it always maintains a stable voltage output of 5.2V even in the case of instantaneous high current. No inefficient heating as linear battery nor output voltage jitter from sudden loading of ordinary switch power, CL9030 can easily drive all kinds of standard and high-voltage servos and other external electrical equipment.
Compatible with most of Cars and Boats
With a 32-bit high-speed chip, high-frequency switch-mode chip MP9943 from MPS, and 18 years of circuit design experience, CL9030 makes the throttle sensitivity up to 2000. CL9030 is perfectly compatible with most cars and boats, including twin-engine models like crawlers, drifting cars, tractor trucks, bait boats, 1/10th scale touring cars, buggies, short-course trucks, monster trucks, or tanks.
2S-4S Battery Supported, Constant Current 90A
2S-4S lithium battery or 5-12 NIMH batteries of power supply with constant 90A current output. The low voltage protection warning tone of the lithium battery is in the factory default setting.
User-defined Output Voltage
The output voltage of BEC can be set to 5.5V or 7.5V.
Attention: Put the Jumper Cap onto the pin of the fourth row means the output voltage of BEC is 7.5V. Keep the pin of the fourth row is vacant means the output voltage of BEC is 5.5V.
Four Working Modes
There are four working modes: Boat Mode, Training Mode, Racing Mode, and Crawler Mode.
Drivers can control models at various speeds as wish because of the linear throttle and brake, which is much smoother and more sensitive than traditional ones.
Boat Mode
Forward/Reverse without Brake.
The extremely low heating of both motors and BEC ensures CL9030 maintains perfect performance even in a sealed environment for a very long time.
Training Mode
Forward/Reverse with Brake.
When the car is forwarding, push the throttle back to center and stop for a short period (0.5 to 1s) to brake. Then re-push the throttle further for car backward.
Racing Mode
It has forward and brake functions only. NO reverse.
Crawler Mode
The crawler mode uses “Single-click” method to make the vehicle reverse, when moving the throttle stick from neutral zone to backward zone, the vehicle reverses immediately.
Multiple Protection
CL9030 has the protection function of lithium battery over discharge, over temperature, abnormal voltage input and Water-proof.
Battery Over Discharge Protection
When the voltage of a single cell is lower than 3.25V, the output power will be reduced gradually. When lower than 3.0V, the ESC will be automatically powered off to protect the model battery and prevent lithium battery from over discharge.
Over-Temperature Protection
When the ESC temperature reaches 85°C, the car/boat stops working. When the ESC temperature reduces to 75°C, the model speed will be back to normal mode.
Abnormal Voltage Input Protection
The max battery input of CL9030 is 4S lithium. When the input voltage is over 18V, the ESC will not be activated.
Water-proof Protection
Water-proof by software and Nano Coating make CL9030 suitable for all-weather condition races.
Accurate Low Voltage Alarm
The Kalman Filter technology applied in CL9030 can accurately identify in real-time the instant voltage when power on and rotors locked.

2KHz PWM Frequency
